Premier devalving tools provide an effective tool to dislodge/disable valves on empty gas cylinders, thus providing the safe evacuation of excess gas before recycling or disposing of the cylinder.  We recommend devalving tools be used on empty cylinders, though ports on the devalving tool will allow any residual or excess gas to be expelled safely.
